Formerly a potent cocktail of Tokyo, food, cooking, wine, photography, vintage rangefinder cameras, shaken with a piquant jot of Mongolia. Been on hold as I adjust to life in Minnesota.

The Grand Finale
Amazing liquid nitrogen frozen dessert, cinnamon apple taste and of course Yamamoto-san's chocolate bar code. You can't help but smile while you eat it!! Please excuse the poor quality of these ryugin shots but the light was not good and I was in a feeding frenzy too.
Yesterday I was just telling a friend about the bar codes for cell phones in Japan when I saw the chocolate bar code. I kind of hoped it would lead to something really cool, but information about the dish seems disappointing. Of course I have no idea what would be cooler either.
The artist formerly known as the Omoshiro Gourmet; or O.G. for short. This blog will be nothing but lies; damnable lies and paeans to the wonders of distilled water

I'm so there, OG.
What's the barcode for?
In Japan some cell phones can read this sort of barcode, supposedly if you download the barcode on your phone it gives information about the dish.
